The #08 Opinel Folding knife is ideal for carving but is also useful for DIY, gardening, wickerwork etc.
The knives feature a unique Olive Wood handle. A Virobloc safety ring allows the user to lock the blade when open (safety in use) and closed (safety in transport).
The blade has a unique Yatagan shape, inspired by a traditional Turkish sabre. It has been ground to a profile ensuring high strength and allowing for efficient regrinding.
The blade is made from corrosion-resistant Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel which provides excellent cutting quality and doesn't require maintenance in the same way carbon steel does.
