Morakniv Wood Splitting Knife 220

The Morakniv Wood Splitting Knife 220 is a versatile two-handled knife designed for splitting kindling and removing material when carving wood.

The 114 mm blade is made from 2.5 mm thick Swedish 12C27 stainless steel with more than 80% recycled content. The stiff blade and Scandi grind provide the strength and control needed for splitting small pieces of timber, stripping bark and shaping green or dry wood.

Used with both hands, it can also work like a compact drawknife. This makes it useful for rough shaping carving blanks, rounding stock and quickly removing material before moving on to finer carving tools.

The two linseed-oiled Scandinavian birch handles are shaped for comfort and fitted with finger guards for a secure grip. The handles can also be reshaped to better suit your hands.

A plastic blade sheath is included to protect the cutting edge and your hands when the knife is stored or transported.
