Made from Swedish shale hardened over billions of years, this whetstone is quarried and sawn in Loos in northern Hälsingland. The grit is even and varies around 1000.
Use it to sharpen everything from your axe head to sloyds, scissors or anything requiring a sharp edge.
Water on the stone will improve the sharpening effect and avoid clogging the sharp grit.
The stone is designed to fit comfortably in the hand as well as your pocket. The thickness is such that you can still sense the edge through the stone whilst sharpening.
A must of anyone looking to maintain a sharp edge on their tools.
