Shinto Rasps — Fast, Clean, Controlled Shaping

The Shinto rasp is a staple in workshops for good reason. Built from hardened saw blades stacked in a diamond pattern, these rasps remove material quickly without clogging, track true, and leave a surprisingly even surface that’s easy to refine.

They sit beautifully in the hand, cut with confidence, and bridge the gap between rough stock removal and finer shaping. If you carve handles, shape curves, or work green or dry timber, these are tools you’ll reach for constantly.

Why Woodworkers Choose Shinto Rasps

  • Rapid stock removal with excellent control

  • Two cutting faces per rasp for versatility

  • Clog-resistant saw-blade construction

  • Durable elastomer handle with good grip

  • Leaves a clean surface ready for scraper or abrasive

Practical, honest tools that do exactly what they’re meant to do.
