Temple Tool Co Timber Framing Pull Saw – Rip Cut – 390 mm

This large timber-framing pull saw is designed for fast, efficient rip cuts in heavy stock. With its long blade and aggressive rip teeth, it is well suited to cutting beams, large boards and structural timber along the grain.

The 390 mm blade provides excellent reach and cutting efficiency when working with thicker material. The coarse rip-tooth pattern is designed to move quickly through timber while maintaining good control, making it a practical saw for timber framing, carpentry and larger woodworking projects.

Like traditional Japanese saws, the blade cuts on the pull stroke, which keeps the blade in tension during the cut. This allows the blade to remain relatively thin while still tracking straight, producing an efficient cut with less effort from the user.

The blade is made from high-quality Japanese steel and features a progressive tooth pattern that helps the saw start smoothly while still cutting aggressively once fully engaged in the cut.

A hardwood handle made from Japanese Wingnut and wrapped in natural rattan provides a comfortable grip and good control during longer cuts.

Built for heavier woodworking tasks, this rip-cut timber saw pairs well with the Temple Tool Co crosscut timber framing saw, allowing you to tackle both rip and cross-grain cuts when working with large stock.
