PRODUCT INFO
The Temple Tool Co Folding Demon-Tooth Kataba is a versatile Japanese pull saw designed for everything from dimensioning stock to medium and large joinery. Its distinctive Demon-Tooth blade combines crosscut and rip teeth along a single cutting edge, allowing it to cut efficiently across, along and diagonally to the grain. Unlike a double-edged Ryoba, the Kataba's single cutting edge is particularly useful for deeper cuts where a second row of teeth can catch or bind in the kerf. Made from SK85 Japanese tool steel with impulse-hardened teeth, the blade folds neatly into the stained beech handle for compact storage and transport.
