Christmas Shipping Cut Offs
Please note that although Australia Post is delivering right through to Christmas, from this point on, pre-Christmas delivery cannot be guaranteed (depending on your location). We pack your order within 2 business days of it arriving but once it has shipped, delivery times are out of our hands. We do offer the option of Express Post but please allow for additional delivery times due to increased load on their systems. Click here to view Australia Post cut off times for each state.
Shipping Times
Orders are shipped 2-4 business days after placement and are sent via Australia Post. You will be supplied with a tracking number once shipped so you can keep track of where your parcel is at.
Please allow 5 business days for delivery and 10 business days for Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania.
Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday or Tuesday.
Australian Shipping Rates
A $15.95 AUD flat rate shipping fee applies on all orders.
If you require your parcel more urgently then you may select Australia Post Express Post shipping for $21.95 AUD which should arrive 1-2 business days after dispatch (location dependant).

RETURNS POLICY
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@woodtamer.com.au and send your item to: Wood Tamer, PO Box 3346, Wamberal NSW 2260, Australia.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

This is a special one.
A true collaboration between Wood Tamer, Strongway Tools and Soulwood Creations, bringing together proven performance and handcrafted individuality.
At the heart of each axe is our trusted 680 WT × SW axe head. A shape we know inside out. Balanced, reliable and built for carving.
Each head has then been handed over to Peter Kovac of Soulwood Creations, where it’s been hung on a beautifully crafted handle, shaped by hand and finished with his signature attention to detail.
No two are the same.
Limited to 10 Pieces
Only 10 axes have been made, each with its own character, grain and feel in the hand.
Weights range from 645 g to 710 g, with each axe individually listed so you can choose the one that feels right for you.

Built to Be Maintained
You’ll notice the protruding wedge.
This is intentional.
As the timber naturally moves with changes in climate, the wedge can be adjusted to keep everything tight. It can also be removed entirely, making future maintenance and sharpening of the axe head easier.

About Soulwood Creations
Soulwood Creations is the work of Peter Kovac, a designer and maker originally from Hungary, now based in the UK.
With a background in furniture making and product design, Peter stepped away from mass production in search of something more meaningful. His work now sits firmly in the world of green woodworking and tool making, where form, function and material all come together.
His philosophy is simple.
Tools should feel like an extension of the body. Built with care, using exceptional materials, and made to last long enough to be passed down.
